hi, i'm yngve or freyr, a queer illustrator based in maine. a lot of my inspiration comes from the environment surrounding me, and from the local scenes i've been around.

i'm currently getting an associates degree in the art field, with plans to either go into a science like biology or chemistry, or continue on in the arts, like i always planned to!

i'm also interested in tattooing and in animation, but they are currently my second priority. i want to delve more into tattoo designs, so they might become a specialty commission type.

i use clip studio paint and... way too many brushes. if you ever want to know what brushes i mainly use, feel free to ask! i also sometimes will use procreate, but it isn't my go-to anymore.

i'm inspired by mostly anything in my life, but i'm morbidly fascinated by medical stuff, taxidermy, and the processes of life and death. a lot of my art will probably be inspired by cells and the anatomy of various bodies.

i'm also a huge space nerd, so movies like iron lung and project hail mary are definitely inspirations of mine as well.
